Miss Utility is a toll-free one number call bureau to handle requests for location of participating members' undergound facilities.
This service was established through a combined effort of our member utilities for your convenience. Our objective is to promote safety and eliminate service interruptions. Your use of this service will result in a safer atmosphere for your and your personnel and the communities we serve.
No person should make or begin any excavation or demolition without first notifying at least fourty eight hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal state and national holidays, prior to the commencement of the proposed excavation or demolition.
After you've done your part, the utility is required to locate any underground facilities without charge. Only then you can dig with confidence and without liability - even on your own property.
