Person-to-Person
Call person-to-person when you must talk to a particular person or extension telephone. Rates are higher than station-to-station. Charging starts when the called person or extension answers.
Collect
You can make most calls "collect" if the person you are calling agrees to pay the charges. If you want to make a collect call, please be sure to tell the Operator when you give her the call.
Conference
You can talk with several people in different places at the same time. Tell the Long Distance Operator you wish to make a conference call.

To dial most International Calls, just follow these four steps and you'll be talking to your party overseas quickly and easily.
- Dial the International Access Code: 011 (direct-dial) or 01 (operator-assisted).
- Dial the Country Code - a two to three-digit number.
- Dial the City Code - a one to five-digit number.
- Dial the Local Telephone Number.
Long Distance Rates:
Lowest Rates - Dial-Direct One Minute Rates
Dial-direct calls are those completed without operator assistance. Dial-direct rates also apply on calls placed with an operator where dial-direct facilities are not available. On direct-dial calls, you pay only for the minutes you talk. The initial rate period is one minute, any time of day or night.
Some carriers apply additional savings if you dial direct during the evening, night or weekend time periods. Check with your long distance carrier to find out if additional savings apply.
Highest Rates - Operator-Assisted One Minutes Rates
Operator-assisted calls are those requiring the assistance of an operator to complete the call. These include person-to-person, calling card, coin, collect, billed to a third number, hotel gues, time and charge calls.
The initial period for all operator-assisted calls is one minute.
